Welcome to my monthly updates! I hope you can learn a little bit more about the work that I am doing while I study at Antioch University Seattle/Hawai’i Pacific University.

Next Steps:
Glad to see you here for my December Update! This will include things from September, October, and November.
2025 Kaleidoscope:
I recommend taking a look at my Kaleidoscope page to see my monthly updates from the past couple of months; I will include the December one here.
Kaleidoscope: Glass dissolves in sunlight, leaving only flowers in its wake.
As the year begins to reach its final pages, it reminds us that the kaleidoscope will shift once again, painting a new picture for 2026. Swirls of colors, moments, and memories that each catch fragments of life in their own unique ways.
This year has reminded me to pause a lot, challenge myself to grow in faith, in enjoying the little things in life, in reflection, spending time with the people I care about, trying out new things, taking a breath, running, and remembering who I was and learning about who I am becoming.
Now I pause to honor the compassion that softens the path, and the gratitude I have for the ordinary days, and the lessons that came wrapped up as trials. I want to leave behind what no longer serves me: old worries, regrets, and shadows of doubt. Like petals unfurling after frost, I look to bloom into the new year with hope, new perspectives, and a chance to share my love with others.
Endings are beautiful, letting go can be graceful, and every moment is full of patterns that shape different aspects of our lives.
Thank you for joining me on this Kaleidoscope journey, and I hope you are ready for something new in 2026.
Let this shard of myself be lilac.
Personal Life Continued:
I survived my 2nd 5K! I showed up late since I selected the wrong Uber option, but my time was fairly consistent. My tracker time was almost the same, but I started running from the Uber and jumped over the fence gates to get onto the race track, so I started using up my energy and didn’t warm up. Anyhow, I have another 5K this coming week! And then will have another one in approximately a month.
Antioch University Seattle:
I have officially left AUS, so I will no longer be posting updates for this.
Hawai’i Pacific University:
I completed my first term, acing my classes, and will finish up my 2nd term next week. I have been so excited to fly out to meet my professors and cohort every 2 months. I can’t believe how well I got to know 42 other students from diverse backgrounds.
Honestly, I am so happy that I switched schools cause I feel so much happier here, even with a grading system that uses the traditional ABCs. I get to wear scrubs again, and while I did not get elected for leadership in the program, I still support with smaller projects in the background, and am looking for different opportunities at the state and national level. I sent in a submission for a research project that I am interested in and am waiting to hear back, so I will keep you posted.
I’m excited for terms 3 and onwards, where my prior background will apply a little less and I can get challenged a little more!
I am also hoping to start up a research project as well, so stay tuned for my progress in that.
