Wow can you believe we already got past the first month of 2022! There is so much going on and wow am I super tired and exhausted already.
Circle K International:
Last time I mentioned that I resigned from a position because my mental health was at an all time low, and I clearly was going through the hardest semester ever. Well I decided to apply for a vacant position this semester now that I know what I can handle and that I have one of the easiest semesters.
I decided to apply for the vacant position of International Trustee! I may not get the position, but I might as well try and continue working at the international level.
Academics:
So my interviews were stressful! I wasn’t expecting to be interviewed by the chair and directors of both programs. I’m not going to lie, but I really like both of the programs a lot more than I initially thought I would. I really got to understand the professors and the work that is being done to improve the world of psychology.
Going into these interviews I took the advice from all my mentors and from all past interviews to heart. I decided to just be myself, like Oscar Wilde once said. And to my surprise I got an acceptance letter around noon today! I was actually expecting to hear back in late February or even March, but they decided to go ahead and accept me!
I received my first acceptance letter from Widener University in Pennsylvania!!! The opther program I interviewed for will announce results next week, and I am currently waitlisted to my dream school, so we shall see where I wind up later this year!
