What is my next step?

Welcome to my monthly updates! I hope you can learn a little bit more about the work that I am doing while I study at the University of San Francisco, California!

Next Step:

It’s Spring already?! Wow time does fly.

Circle K International:

Last time, I mentioned that I would run for an international postion, but I decided to decline the interview for the position. I actually had a really good chance of getting the position, but I thought I would not make the impact I wanted to make in my own community with that title. Anyhow, I’m officially retiring from Circle K International! It was a great four years of serving at the club, division, district, and even interntional level! I’m off to grad school, so maybe I might join a local Kiwanis chapter!

Future Clinicians Association:

Why am I not surprised…. I decided to charter a new organization. I noticed that my school and honestly several colleges lack a peer mentorship group for students looking to work as therapists, counselors, or clinicians. There has always been a large focus on academia and research, but I think Covid-19 has increased the need and awareness for people to work in the mental health field. So I decied to create this group and I am currently working with both the University of San Francisco’s Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy Program and Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program to provide more insight into the field, provide guest speakers, student mentors, and most importantly indoctrinate students into the clinica

Academics:
